The Tabere Straja team is made up of ski and snowboard instructors, physical-education teachers, nutritionists, psychologists, arts teachers, dancers, musicians, mountaineers, doctors and athletes of national and world renown.

The aims of the Ski School are the introduction, consolidation and refinement of the technical skills needed to practise alpine skiing safely.

The Straja mountain resort lies in the Vâlcan mountains, 8 km from the town of Lupeni, Hunedoara county.
In the summer season: hiking trails, adventure parks, visits to the Straja Hermitage, the Heroes' Cross, Baloo the bear, the sheepfold, and the Retezat guesthouse. In the winter season: the largest skiable terrain in Romania.

A wonderful ski camp! Our children, aged 5 and 7, had a great time and learned a huge amount. The instructors Ciprian and Mihai are true professionals, with a great deal of patience and dedication whatever the weather. Good food, very good organisation, everything on time and conditions worthy of top marks. We will definitely be back!
