In a welcoming atmosphere, at the Straja winter camp, skiing becomes even more exciting thanks to slopes divided by level of difficulty and altitude.
Sessions every week from November to March. The price is per participant and includes accommodation, meals, ski lessons and equipment. You arrange your own transport.

Out of love for the mountains and for children, out of a desire to do something original, with the experience of countless training camps and camps we have taken part in, and with the help of the knowledge gained during doctoral studies at UNEFS Bucharest, we set out to create projects that are unique in Romania.
Today we are one of the largest camp-organising companies in Romania, with over 20,000 children and adults who have taken part in our programmes.
The Tabere Straja team is made up of ski and snowboard instructors, physical-education teachers, nutritionists, psychologists, arts teachers, dancers, musicians, mountaineers, doctors and athletes of national and world renown.
What matters is not sliding on the snow, but being in full control, in any situation. With our instructors you will be able to learn, progress and refine your skills in the shortest possible time.
The aims of the Ski School are the introduction, consolidation and refinement of the technical skills needed to practise alpine skiing safely.

Cel mai mare domeniu schiabil din România cu 12 pârtii de schi, inclusiv cea mai lungă pârtie din țară: 8,1 km de la Vârful Straja (1868m) până la telegondolă (750m). 26 km de domeniu schiabil și 11 instalații de transport pe cablu.
The Straja mountain resort lies in the Vâlcan mountains, 8 km from the town of Lupeni, Hunedoara county.
In the summer season: hiking trails, adventure parks, visits to the Straja Hermitage, the Heroes' Cross, Baloo the bear, the sheepfold, and the Retezat guesthouse. In the winter season: the largest skiable terrain in Romania.

A wonderful ski camp! Our children, aged 5 and 7, had a great time and learned a huge amount. The instructors Ciprian and Mihai are true professionals, with a great deal of patience and dedication whatever the weather.
