2027 winter camps at Straja: skiing, snowboarding and confidence on the slopes
The 2026-2027 winter season brings ski and snowboard camps for children and teenagers to Straja, as well as camps for preschoolers from the age of 3. There are sessions during the school holidays, ski weekends, Christmas and New Year's Eve packages, and periods when parents can join their children.
The camps are organized in collaboration with the Straja Ski and Snowboard School, with instructors who adapt their teaching to each child's level: beginner, intermediate or advanced. For those putting on skis for the very first time, the Baloo Beginners' Slope is a big advantage. It is close by, easy to reach and ideal for first lessons, basic exercises and those first runs down the slope, taken with a few nerves but plenty of courage.
Children can get up to 5 hours of skiing a day, equipment included, specialist instructors, chalet activities, the camp contest, a certificate, a medal and group photos. Our aim is not just for a child to get down the slope, but to ski more safely, with more control and with more confidence.
The camps are hosted by the Dor de Munte Guesthouse, which has recently added new accommodation and facilities that round off the winter experience perfectly. After their hours on the slopes, children and families can enjoy the SPA area, with a pool, hot tub, sauna and massage. The new restaurant at Dor de Munte, spacious and welcoming with a chalet atmosphere, brings that feeling of a warm mountain lodge where meals become part of the camp story.
2027 summer camps at Straja: adventure, nature and friendship
In summer, Straja changes completely, but the energy stays the same. The 2027 summer camps are for school-age children aged 7 to 18, as well as preschoolers aged 4 to 8 accompanied by their parents. They suit active, curious children who are keen to try new things, but also those who need encouragement, a group and a setting in which to step gradually out of their comfort zone.
The summer program includes an adventure park, zip line, climbing, hikes, team games, tubing, creative activities, stone painting, dance, swimming, nutrition and psychology lessons, chalet evenings, a campfire and time to socialize. Children discover the mountains through activities, but also through simple rules: sticking to the schedule, respecting the other children, looking after their belongings, discipline, hygiene and the courage to give things a try.
For organized groups, the summer camps can be tailored to the children's age, the dates and the teachers' objectives. For individual enrollments, the sessions are designed so that every child can easily fit into the group and enjoy the activities alongside children from all over the country.
