Raluca Topan

I am a licensed nutritionist-dietician, a graduate of the Nutrition and Dietetics specialization at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Cluj-Napoca, and a graduate of the master's program "Nutrition and Quality of Life" at the same university. I decided to follow this path, first of all out of passion, but also out of a desire to help as many people as possible lead a healthy lifestyle and to learn what healthy eating truly means. Nowadays, an unbalanced diet is the cause of many chronic conditions and diseases, which is why I believe it is essential to acquire healthy eating habits from the very first years of life.

I currently work at POLARIS Medical, the largest private recovery hospital in Romania, located 12 km from Cluj-Napoca, and at the Medstar medical center. I am a co-author of the book "Recommendations for Nutritional Interventions in Hospitalized Patients", under the coordination of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ioan Veresiu. I am involved in a series of new projects, nutrition workshops, the nutrition camp for children at Straja, etc.

I enjoy working with the little ones too, and I support the initiative of the organizers of these nutrition camps at Straja, which I believe have a remarkable impact on children and on their growing up as healthy as possible into adults.

At the same time, I am happy to be part of this wonderful team of specialists and to contribute to the health and harmonious growth of children.
