Iulia Hădărean

I am a licensed nutritionist-dietician, a graduate of the Nutrition and Dietetics department at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Cluj-Napoca, currently a master's student in the postgraduate program "Nutrition and Quality of Life".

I currently work at the Asteco medical center and at the camps organized by Tabere Straja. I have always paid attention to healthy eating and to practicing sports, which naturally led to specializing in this field. Working with adult patients, I realized that people constantly need personalized nutritional advice in order to change their lifestyle to a more active, healthier one, that ensures a long life without the risk of developing chronic conditions.

Now, attention is also turning to the little ones, who need help in the area of nutrition just as much as adults do. Because a child with weight problems has every chance of becoming an overweight adult, the intervention of a specialist from childhood can prevent these problems. I firmly believe that eating habits are learned in the first years of life, so a child taught from an early age to have variety on their plate, with healthy habits, will develop harmoniously.

I am a former competitive athlete in athletics, a bronze medalist at the national senior championships in the 100m event and a participant in international championships.
